Meet Dr. Jessica Barraza

Dr. Jessica Barraza is excited to be a part of 20/20 EyeCare, where her greatest joy as a doctor is to provide high quality, individualized care to assist all her patients in maintaining their eye health in order to see their world more clearly.

Dr. Barraza received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas where she graduated as valedictorian. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri - St. Louis College of Optometry in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Barraza has experience with primary care optometry and specialty care including scleral contact lenses, geriatric care, low vision evaluation and devices, and binocular vision evaluation and therapy. She completed her externship at Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas and received her school's Clinical Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy Award at graduation.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Texas Optometric Association (TOA), and Beta Sigma Kappa (International Optometric Honor Society). She is happy to serve her patients as a part of the Grand Prairie community.
